Echoing the Idea of a Digital India, BIHANG Team proposes Educating school students by Establishing A Solar Powered Computer Lab in the schools under Project RAINBOW.This is aligned with the Bihang's Vision to driving effective Social Investments through Innovative Solutions ensuring Sustainable and inclusive Development for all.
The Objective – Achieve a shelf sustainable model that helps develop digital skill in students & candidates from nearby community through Solar Power operated fully functional Computer Lab and trained Computer lab instructor.
The project aims to provide technical IT education to school students and village youth with the objective of building the capacity of the Institution and subsequently its staff to operate & manage this project on a long term basis. A study of the immediate beneficiaries (Students & their parents), and other stakeholders including relevance of the institutional infrastructure created shall be undertaken to assess the status and capacity to sustain even after withdrawal of the project inputs from external sources.
